I noticed some power outages Wednesday at work. Twice, when I was trying to print things off on the unreliable copier at work. However, it seems like there are some other places that could have used power even more, but could not get it.
So far, the Neihu line extension of the Taipei MRT brown line has had quite a few problems with operation. Amongst these is a power outages that left people stranded without air conditioning. The people keep coming though – train frequency on the brown line had to double to keep up with passenger demand when it is working.
It makes me wonder if I should go hiking out in Neihu, since I have a busy schedule. I wouldn’t want to be stuck in a train carriage if possible.
