I finally went to the El Gallo restaurant on a day they happened to have guacamole. It wasn’t bad, but it was tiny. Lots of tomato pieces were added for bulk. The chips were a little salty too. I can safely say at this point that there isn’t any quality guacamole in Taiwan unless it is made by oneself. Avocados are available in the supermarket.
I had a Mexican salad as well. The fruit this time around was some mango. Amazing how little I get. Between all the customers in the restaurant, I doubt they would even use one mango.
