No need to pop
Have a party with many balloons leftover? Lots of people like to pop them, but that makes balloon pieces go all over the place, and it may annoy people with aversions to loud noises.
An easy way to deflate the balloons is to take scissors and cut the balloon just above the knot holding the balloon shut. It will make a hole that will allow the air to escape quickly, but will not be loud.
