This place is one of the largest maritime museums I’ve been to, even if it is not actually located on the water or have actual ships to explore inside of. No photography inside, but looking outwards, there were some good pictures to be taken of CKS Memorial Hall and a nearby gate (景福門):

The musuem doesn’t have as many interesting games to play as the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, but the children there seemed very happy with what the Evergreen Maritime Museum had on offer here in Taipei.

For older people, there was information on all sorts of ships from many different periods in time. There is some English and Japanese information for non Chinese speakers. The museum only opened late last year, so it is very clean and relatively unknown.
