Scooters are sacred
One would think with all the ruckus protestors in Taiwan make, it would not be particularly authoritarian. However, when I see ads like this, I can only think of Taiwan as the more authoritarian, big brother police state:
Could it be KMT influence, or something else? I don’t think it really bows down to mainland China – they need to get rid of pollution, and one less scooter is a great way to do that. They could have 139 more cars and still pollute less than that one scooter.
