Yesterday I went to Beitou to soak in the hot springs. I’ve done it many times, but I noticed on the map there was a place I had completely missed every time I had come before: Hell’s Valley.

Hell’s Valley is a place where hot spring water in the area comes to the surface. At the surface, the pH is 1.2 and the temperature 75 degrees C. There is a walkway next to the hot spring pool, but because of the water conditions, part of the stone walkway has corroded to the point that it had been decided to block it off.
