Obama – will he affect any important change?

Since the USA has finally elected a new president, it will be interesting to see if he is any better than the last one. For starters, it would be nice to see the following struck down:

  • The Patriot Act (Obama didn’t vote for the original, but he did vote for renewing it)
  • The Military Commissions Act (Obama voted for this one too)
  • All of the unconstitutional executive orders signed by President Bush of the USA

Will Obama be good and get rid of those powers as well as try everyone connected to the Bush administration for war crimes? Somehow, I doubt it will. Will the truth about 9/11 being a false flag attack and controlled demolition be revealed? I doubt that too.  I think Ron Paul was the only candidate in the USA that actually would have made the USA live up to its promise of being a free land.

The economy supposedly being bad will only be used to bury any strong desires by people to see their freedoms restored.

Of course, if Obama does set an example of freedom in his land, perhaps it would help cause positive change in other police states like the UK. I would be very happy to be wrong here.
