Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden

Another reason I wanted to go up to Mendocino was to see the Botanical Gardens. They are 47 acres (quite large) and the only in mainland USA that is on the beachfront.

While the gardens are not that varied compared to other places I’ve been, they are large and give a good sense about what grows in this region of the USA.

There are also some nice photos to be had on the shoreline…

The place seems designed for weddings. The Dhalia Garden is spectacular.

I also would like these plants… the first is a torchlily. The second, I don’t know. They are both beautiful though…
