Transplant Memories

I’ve come across some interesting reports online of donor recipients who inherit memories and behaviours from the organ donors. For example, a meat eater gets an organ transplant from a vegetarian, and then suddenly develop an aversion to meat themselves.

I am not sure the organs themselves have memories – it seems that it would be possible for the behaviours to somehow be learned or absorbed in some other fashion. For example, if you meet somebody related to the organ donor and get to know them over a long time, you might take on a persona similar to the deceased organ donor. Another explanation.
