Flagging Chinese Anti-Virus software as a Virus

I don’t find this information surprising at all. I use a variant of Kapersky (the free AOL Anti Virus), and an unprotected session using QQ (a Chinese chat program kind of like MSN, but much more invasive) causes all sorts of viruses to be found. The story is Kapersky is being sued by a Chinese Anti-Virus vendor because Kapersky’s Anti Virus programs flag the Chinese Anti-Virus as a virus itself.


Unfortunately, the case is to be tried in China, so I don’t have my hopes up for a fair judgement. Though it is possible…
