Mourning fire

Yesterday I went on one of my long, long bike rides (along with some other people). The bike ride itself was slow and uneventful. However, at the destination for lunch, there were some people burning sticks as a sign of respect for their family members that had passed away.

Only it wasn’t the sticks that began burning, so soon there was a large patch of the field up in flames. Since there were many bikers, we just took buckets of water until we put out the fire. The fire department water truck arrived quite a bit later, after we had already put out the flames.
